Why Revolution Fitness Clubs?
A couple of years ago while managing World Gym and CrossFit Oakville I had an epiphany. It was that traditional gym layouts have not significantly changed in the last 40 years. At this time, I was participating in CrossFit and have been actively involved with sports performance training since 2003. One thing I can tell you for sure is that the way people train has evolved in the last 40 years. I mean it really has evolved significantly, but still gyms are generally equipped the same. So, I asked this question, why not change the layout of the health club to match the evolution of training? This is where the idea of Revolution Fitness Clubs began.

Revolution Fitness Clubs are designed for strength training. Our 125 foot Rogue custom rig will provide more stations for benching, squatting and deadlifting than any traditional gyms, the reality is that it will provide more than any two traditional gyms combined. When you come to Revolution Fitness Clubs you will find over 25 stations to do any of the big three lifts. This is important because strength training is the most important aspect of exercise for anyone, at any age, gender, or level. If you have never been to a gym before the first thing you should do is move weight, not jump on an elliptical or attend a group exercise class. We will also guide you through this process if strength training is completely foreign to you.

The fact is that most programs have way too much cardio and not enough progressive strength training. The key to feeling better, more empowered, and living longer starts with the barbell.
